Ashton is a fairly simple individual. not actively involved in the goings between the death eaters and order, but he's wildly aware of their happenings and going ons between the two organizations. as a muggleborn he had suffered a great deal from bullies while in hogwarts, paying little to no mind, despite a severe dislike between the pure elitist and his fellow muggleborns. while not actively involved in the order, he has pledged his alliance with them. offering up any help that he can offer when regards to spell damages suffered by members of the order who wander into st. mungos without garnering attention from the ministry. friends, he was a gryffindor when he had attended hogwarts. showing a interest in both magical injuries and spending a great deal of his time being a shadow to the school healer whenever there was something fascinating going on. otherwise he was a very friendly individual who made friends easily, with his easy going personality and friendly face. almost always seen smiling. enemies, there are plenty, during his time at hogwarts he was periodically bullied by pureblood elite and future death eaters. while he rarely let it get to himself, he would stand up for his fellow muggleborns whenever he was given the opportunity. which was not by default a fan favorite. loves, while his best friend believes he is not as straight as he seems, ashton has dated several women between Hogwarts and his time at St. Mungos. Though rarely did they ever last because he was clearly more in love with his best friend than any of them, he certainly tried - and he was always a gentleman with any females that he was in contact with. 23. neutral. single. disposal of magical creatures

river is not the worlds easiest person to get along with. she's muggleborn - or at least that's what she's been told after being passed on to a pair of muggles because her birth parents are incompetent hippies. formerly a hufflepuff she never really fit in when she had been at hogwarts. she was never really strong doing classwork being the kind of person who rather go out and do things than sit around and read a book. in fact she would rather bang her head against a wall than read a book. which eventually lead to her competence and interest in the magical world of beasts, beings and other supernatural creatures.  which is where most would have found her whilst at Hogwarts. outside, swimming in the lake to try and find mermaids, etc. friends, she has a few. i don't think river has the most social of personalities, but there has to be one or two people who actually like her, because everyone needs friends that aren't covered in fur or your baby sister. enemies, a few, if she saw/heard anyone talk badly about anything creature like, she would have probably made it a point to yell at them. she doesn't have the steadiest of tempers, and is basically a bomb ready to go off. loves,  she's not really been someone who dated a lot, someone who didn't really know how to flirt or even try, aside from one Quidditch player who eventually became her fiance, that she dumped because she wasn't really cut out for dating - yet. but if someone wants to try a crack at her you can, but she's stubborn and already have a work in progress. SIRIUS + ASHTON

hai there :3 so ashton is a bit older than sirius so on that regard i doubt they would be best friends, but i do think that they could be decent friends. both in gryffindor, sirius would have stuck up for ashton despite the fact that he was older whenever elitists at school picked on him simply because that's how sirius is - loyalties to your house and all since sirius doesn't have any other loyalties (well, except now for the order.) i can't see ashton offering much in the way of a big brother relationship, but i think sirius would admire ashton for being a trooper with the bullying he suffered and i think they'd get along if they were to cross paths. thoughts?

sorry this took me forever to reply to. I think Ashton would have genuinely liked Sirius during their brief time at Hogwarts together, he probably got a few eyerolls here and there, but I think Ashton would still keep up with Sirius, he tends to like to dote on people and be over protective and since Sirius was a good mate to him in school he pretty much made it his duty to check up on him and how he's doing. That and Ashton is a supporter of the Order, so they have a somewhat common edge at least somewhat.

It says that Ashton was bullied by school so I was thinking maybe she was one of them? They would have oh been a couple years apart and Bella would have hated his guts. If she were to ever meet up with Ashton she would be ecstatic, but only in the most horrible way, of course. Thoughts/ideas?

Oh dear, Ashton probably - dislikes her a lot, mostly because he thinks she's pretty insane. Regardless he would have - probably did his best not to let it bother him the taunting and the just - pure akjakjsd. He also would plan to avoid her a lot in any future concepts because - she's too wicked with a wand.

Hey, Ashy!! So not only are Ashton and Charlie the same age, but they've got the house rivalry thing going for them with Gryffindor/Slytherin. That also can be turned up a notch since Ashton is muggleborn and Charlie is a big fat supremacist. I think Charlie would have hung around the same groups that bullied Ashton and his friends, but I don't think he would have really been the worst of them. I mean if he, like, tripped Ashton or something he'd probably try to help him up right after. I don't know what their relationship would be exactly...but I really like the idea of doing something with them.

RIVER KINDLE CARMICHAEL & Charlie

I have less ideas for them but Charlie is pretty social at work. When Magical Law Enforcement has to bring in Disposal of Magical Creatures, I'm sure Charlie is there looking stupid with a clipboard. He doesn't really like any sort of animal because he's kind of a clean-freak, so maybe they could have a thread that stems off that? And then we can kind of see how they interact. I have some more ideas here, too! Let me know what you think.

Good ole Gryffindor & Slytherin Rivalries are always the best. I mean his best friend was a Slytherin so it's not entirely a deep dislike for him, just those that have been the problem children are the ones he kind of hates. I think because he wasn't really the primary agressor that Ashton would have sort of - ignored him for the majority because it was just simply better. But I feel like they could have a mutual just kind of - avoidance, but not like the grand distain like Malfoy & Harry had. So I feel like Charlie sort of surprises Ashton from time to time. Granted their time would be limited now to seeing one another, but it probably would be moderately tense but corgial at least moderately. We can have a thread if you like and see how it goes?

Their departments work in moderation with one another as I assume they sometimes find less than desirable creatures in witches & wizards possessions. She would gawk if she knew he didn't like animals a very "are you human" kind of reation. She's not the kind of person who is very quiet and reserved so Riv would make sure to say all sort of things towards him.

well, there's quite an age gap between the two of them, but he's the same age as mary's brohter, so i figure they could have at least heard of each other. more importantly, given that mary is training at st. mungo's right now, there's a bigger chance of them meeting and interacting through that. mary is also a muggleborn, and she has seen first hand how bad the bullying can be (she was attacked on he fifth year so... yeah) so that could possibly be another bonding point. either that or he just offers to help her out after seeing her looking ridiculously lost xD anyway, i think the two of them could be pretty decent friends ^^,

i don't have any ideas as to how the two of them could know each other, since river would be almost finishing school when mary started, but if they knew each other, i figure they could be friends xD i'm sorry, i suck

Ashton tends to brother everyone, it's kind of his forte, because he feels like he has to watch over anyone, if/when we get a Macdonald brother maybe they are friends and that Ashton sort of - took on the role. EVEN if they weren't friends this is still the kind of thing he would of done anyways, I doubt it was so much keen at Hogwarts because - their age gap was significant but because she works at St. Mungos he probably helps her out, he's a bit of a over-worker and all, and he likes to be overly helpful so even if their in different departments, he'd lend her a hand. He's someone you can talk to if you need it.
