Andromeda Nereid Tonks - neé Black - is twenty-five years old, a former Slytherin and - an Order Supporter. Born of one of the most prejudiced of the pureblooded families in the Wizarding World - no, really - Andromeda was raised with one thing clear: half-bloods and Muggle-born witches and wizards were the enemy. When she fell in love - somewhat... tumultuously, admittedly - at seventeen, it was rather shocking that the boy who had stolen her heart was a Muggleborn. But they split up. For his sake - for hers - because of her family - because they couldn't stop fighting. There were plenty of reasons. And so they split - but a few months later, she found herself out of the family regardless. She was pregnant. She married Ted Tonks, and they had a beautiful daughter: the only beautiful thing to come out of their relationship, which has always had more downs than ups. Professionally, she's a Healer; due to schedules, she rarely sees her husband (probably for the best) and still allows her to spend plenty of time with her growing daughter. Why doesn't she just stay neutral, you may wonder? For all her original beliefs in the pureblood cause - for all the disdain she had been taught - she would rather die herself than see harm come to Nymphadora, and honestly, she feels the same way about Ted. The idea of them dying for merely existing horrifies her and certainly has endeared her to the cause.
FRIENDS this is complicated for Andromeda; her childhood/school-aged friends won't speak to her kindly at this point - and the people who she has gotten close to in the last several years (since her marriage to Ted) are the very people she was somewhat rude to all throughout her teenaged years. However, it's important to note that while she has her differences with Ted, she has grown quite close to a few friendly faces over the last several years - members and supporters of the Order, mostly.
ENEMIES Her former friends are most heartily her enemies - as is her family, sadly. Andromeda is labeled as a blood traitor - the mother to a half-blood, the wife to a Mudblood. The society she was once a part of now hates everything that she has become; this is certain to be cause for some rather bitter enemies.
LOVERS While Andromeda had a few romances before things really heated up with Ted - it's important to note that he is the only person she has ever been in love with. And now, despite all that happens otherwise, he is still the love of her life. No matter their marital problems - no matter the guilt she feels, or the anger that at times can possess her. He is the father of her child, and well - it's always been him, hasn't it?
