so this is marcus. he's marley's older brother. he's a successful human being. he's in the ministry somewhere, he's probably had the same serious girlfriend for a while, he's the sort of person that casts a pretty big shadow and Marlene had been standing in it for a really long time. They're not as close as they could be, but they do meet up at mum's every once in a while for dinner. they all die in a year.

maddox is the family screw up. he's never going to amount to much of anything and i think he probably likes it that way. marlene thinks he's something of a pet and probably loves him dearly and helps him out if she can, but he's still a little ridiculous. but that's what little brothers are for, you know. he comes to family dinners too. they all die in a year.

for those of you who pay attention to that sort of thing, travers is the man who kills marlene and her entire family. so i think that we need him to be around. but not just - to eventually kill them, because where's the fun in just  that?


marlene is a serial dater and has a tendency to pick - the wrong guy, but after meeting travers she's pretty sure she's finally found the one no for real this time, honest. he's well spoken, suave, has a big wallet, and gosh is he good looking. needless to say, he might not feel the same way about her, but some people like playing with their food before they destroy it.
